I am building a menu which allows both speech recognition and DTMF input.
Here's the requirement from business: The menu's initially prompt is "Is this a new claim, existing claim or something else?" The menu allows three tries. In the re-prompt IVR should play a different prompt "For new claim, say 'new claim' or press one; for existing claim, say 'existing claim' or press two; otherwise say 'something else' or press three."
In Architect, how can I set the re-prompt to use a different prompt?

Break it into separate actions. Make the first prompt a single menu with no reprompting. The default/timeout option will be to route to a different menu that says the second prompt with one retry. The default/timeout option on that menu will be whatever you want to happen on the final reprompt.
