Hey There,

Can anyone help me to know that with the help of Hybrid Cloud - Proxy Trunk can we connect 2 independent Edge Servers . Meaning something similar to a Tie trunk connected to two different networks.

Is this possible with HYbrid Cloud  Solution by Genesys

Thanks for the reponse atleast. I am trying to convert the On Prem edges to Hybrid media but while performing step 2 that is moving the edge in to the Genesys Hybrid Cloud Group i dont see. I have done step 1 the appfoundry thing and its there.
Can you please help to know how to proceed further

Interesting.... this exact thing is happening to us as well.  All of our sites were BYOC Premise, I enabled BYOC Cloud from the app foundry, it created the cloud edges, but it didn't create the Hybrid Media Edge group.  Any ideas on how to get the system to create that Edge group?

Hi All,

What I have found going through this with several orgs is you need to layer from the beginning up.  Even though Genesys documentation states you just need to add BYOC-Cloud and Genesys Cloud Voice.  Reality what I've seen and I hypothesize it is based on the age of the Org you should really start by installing BYOC-Premise then Install GCV and then do the BYOC-Cloud.  This has resolved a lot of the issues being reported here.  As always be careful and I hope this helps.

hello,

I was looking and I do not have that option in my instance  (Admin > Account Settings > Genesys Add Ons)

I do have app foundry instead but the purchase button is grayed out when querying for BYOC premises, I was reading that you need the integration permission which I have (master admin ) so not sure what is preventing me to isntall and activate the BYOC premises app.
