  • 1.  IceLib SDK - Creating conference

    Hi,

    We are facing an issue while creating conference using IceLib SDK. Pls find below the steps to create a new conference – 

    1. Got incoming call
    2. Made a consult call
    3. Created new conference using MakeNewConference(Interaction[] interactions) method. Interaction array contains interactions from step#1 and step#2.

    Using above steps in our lab, we are able to create a new conference. And all three parties (agent, supervisor, and customer) can hear each other.

    Whereas when we put the same application in client's environment, it gives below exception –

     

    The specified user or station does not have sufficient rights to perform this action.   en ININ.IceLib.Internal.StreamErrorInformation.ThrowIfError(CultureInfo cultureInfo, Int32 lastError, String lastErrorText, String[] extraData, Boolean isConnecting)

       en ININ.IceLib.Internal.StreamErrorInformation.ReadAndThrowIfError(CultureInfo cultureInfo, NotifierReader reader)

       en ININ.IceLib.Connection.Session.SendMessageAndThrowIfError(Message message)

       en ININ.IceLib.Interactions.InteractionConference.AddPartiesImpl(Interaction[] interactions)

       en ININ.IceLib.Interactions.InteractionConference.AddParties(Interaction[] interactions)

       en ININ.IceLib.Interactions.InteractionsManager.MakeNewConferenceImpl(Interaction[] interactions)

       en ININ.IceLib.Interactions.InteractionsManager.MakeNewConference(Interaction[] interactions)

       en UniAgentRightNowExtensionBar.ConsSoftPhone.SoftPhone.btnConference_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e)

     

    Can you give me your thoughts, inputs on this.

    Hi Sukhadeo,

    sounds like the user has not the right "Conference Calls" in User Configuration -> Security -> Button: "Security Rights"

    Hi Hans,

    We checked the security settings and found conference option is checked.

    We tried few other options and found if I remove Administrator roll of the user, this exception starts coming. But at the same time Interaction Desktop works fine.

    We checked with our client and they users (agents) can be only assigned Agent roll and nor Agent + Administrator.

    So we have to make it work for users with only Agent roll assigned.
