    Hi,

    I don't know if this information is already out there, but if it is, I can't find it.

    We regularly see Ideas on the Aha site changing status, and we either get excited by apparent progress, or disappointed that an idea is apparently being shelved. But we don't actually know if that is the case!

    For example, does "Initial Triage" come before or after "PM Review"? And where does that fit in relation to "Community Feedback Requested"? Is there a simple (!) flowchart anywhere that shows the progression of statuses so we can be more accurately excited or outraged?

    Thank you.

    Hi Paul,

    You can find a list of the statuses in the Product Ideas Lab here which are in order of how they progress as the idea moves through the lifecycle.

    Thank you!

    With respect, it seems that not only do some ideas appear to go "backwards" but also many of those Timeline Estimates are wildly inaccurate when it comes to reality. We regularly see Ideas (just look through many of the community threads, or the Ideas themselves) which garner many votes, yet sometimes go well over a year without an update. This is especially true of the earlier statuses.

    This will help me (and, no doubt others) to catch when these things happen.

    I think a good example of the lack of transparency is WEM-I-335, this idea has been open since Apr 2018, almost 6 years. It's been in an accepted status for years. Has been Under PM Review for a while. Has been promised that it was going to be delivered for years but we never get any updates on it. Hard to believe a feature that most the WFM platforms figured out 15+ years ago still hasn't been implemented.

    Agree Brad, this is something many of us have been vocal about for quite some time now and sadly have yet to see any substantial improvement in the whole process.  I was at one point of of the most vocal in my frustration at the ideas portal and ideas progression but unfortunately I have started to become quite indifferent to it as have many others.  What's even sadder about the example idea you raise is that it was originally created by one of the better PMs at Genesys so even their own raised ideas get stuck in limbo.

    @Jerimiah Rudden,

    OK, so I just had a good look at the Ideas site. There are currently 1,560 Ideas in a status of "Initial Triage", which your progression explanation says should last for approximately 15 days. Of these, only 96 are currently within that 15-day window, meaning that the ball has been dropped on 1,464 ideas! I could understand one or two being a few days over (I'm assuming the quoted figure is only an estimate) but 94%???! Add to this, some of the oldest Ideas have been there for 6 years or so!

    Please can we see a concerted effort to tidy this up? I understand it's a huge undertaking, but if you want to keep us (the community) involved, and making use of the site, then you need to do your part too....
