The following article talks about the creation methods including the two import methods: https://help.mypurecloud.com/articles/add-a-forecast/.
The first import method (Weighted Historical Index with Source Data Import) is for importing source data not importing a forecast.
The second import method (Import Short-Term Interval Forecast Data) would be the option to import a forecast.
Also there is historical data import (links off of https://help.mypurecloud.com/articles/about-workforce-management/) that can be utilized with automatic best method (a way to 'bootstrap' until you have enough native Genesys Cloud historical information for forecasting). This may be more applicable and would be done once as opposed to how many ever forecasts you would potentially use the second import method for.

Hi
Glad I found this community. I am currently setting up WFM in Cloud and starting to configure it. In the Forecast template I can import? We are on Engage right now. How do I import the forecast from Engage to Cloud?
Thanks so much
