    Hello Community! 

    Genesys Cloud has a very important update regarding Genesys-owned IP addresses, please see the below information. 

    Genesys Cloud is expanding the range of Genesys-owned IP addresses and adjusting the UDP ranges for public-facing media services. All customers must configure their firewalls to allow access to the new CIDR IP addresses by October 28, 2024.

    If your organization restricts or blocks IP ranges, it is highly recommended that your network and security teams open the previously communicated ranges. Failure to do so may cause calls to agents/employees via Genesys Cloud to fail intermittently or entirely.

    This expansion reduces the number of Genesys-owned IP addresses for media services, simplifying firewall configurations.

    Thank you, Cameron, for continuing to announce this.  The CIDR block change is important, but I think for most companies the media port range is more important since it is VERY nonstandard and affects their current rules.  There needs to be more announcements around that.
