Several options here. First, if you want a conversation, you will need to look at Audio Connector for two-way speech. The other route would be SIP trunking between Genesys and the outside service. Finally, you can consider services from AudioCodes that helps to bridge audio services into conversations.

Recently OpenAI introduced Realtime API feature which is powerful tool for building conversational AI applications. After some research I couldn't understand how to establish connection between a customer voice and Realtime API. Is it possible to do? If yes, which APIs will be helpful for this?
It looks like AudioHook protocol may be suitable for this as docs says "...provide a near real-time stream of voice interactions...", but not sure if this is right path.
Does anybody have at least high level understanding how to build conversational AI agent using Realtime API?
