Found the problem myself: I had integrated the index.html into my e-mail script. Removing that lead to a working widget.
------------
I have created a prototype of an interaction widget that reads and displays the username, user ID, and division of the user via the platform SDK for the proof of concept. The problem is: the widget works perfectly for the interaction type 'calls', but not for emails. During debugging, it turned out that the URL (window.location.href) is fine for calls with all parameters (gcEnvironment etc.), but with emails it switches to "http://localhost:3000/". It does not matter if the widget is hosted locally with node.js or running on a website .
Are interaction widgets processed differently for emails than for calls? Can someone give me a hint on what I need to approach differently here?
