Hello Randy,
Here's a documentation link that talks about this screen:
https://help.mypurecloud.com/articles/interaction-window-in-embedded-clients/
It doesn't mention custom widgets but shows that it supports some native Genesys ones.
However, the ideal approach is to use a component built via a Class in Salesforce.
Also, make sure to check out the new Cx Cloud Connector for Salesforce - it brings a lot of great features.

Hi Gabriel,
Do you have any details or can you point me to documentation on the limitation? If there's some changes we can make to the widget on our end we can try that. I can also give creating a component via a Class in Salesforce.
Thanks so much for your assistance.

Hello Randy,
So, there's a limitation when using widgets inside Salesforce the same way they're used in Genesys.
The alternative is to create the component via a Class within Salesforce, add it to a page, and pass the data through attributes.

Hi Randy,
Do a test by handling an interaction through Genesys to see if the widgets appear in Genesys.

Hi Gabriel,
We've tried adding groups and queues that the agent in SalesForce belongs to with no luck. I'm open to any and all ideas!

Thanks,
Randy

Hello Randy,
Have you tried assigning these custom widgets by filtering them by queue in the integration settings?
Another option is to create this component on the Salesforce screen as well, but try filtering by queue and also try adding a group in the filter.

Hi All,
We have deployed several custom Interaction Widgets in GC, and need to expose them in Genesys Cloud for Salesforce (Lightning) in the GenesysCloudInteractionUtility (which already shows some Genesys native widgets like Canned Responses and Scripts). Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly apprecaited.
Thanks!
