Hi everyone,
since we are mostly partnering with outbound call centers the new feature apple announced is worrying some of our clients.
As of now there is already a possibility for apple users to filter unknown numbers and send them directly to voicemail. Now that apple has announced they want to use AI to ask the caller for their intent of calling, more users might activate that feature, which could lead to more customers that are not being reached.
So my question is: are there others that did find a solution how to avoid being sent to the voicemail with the current setting?
And do you already have ideas how to react to the feature of iOS 26? As of now, I am not aware that there is a possiblity with agent-campaigns to play a prompt within the dialer/campaign, only after the call is send to a queue - which does not happen, when the dialer detects a machine answering.
In my research I also found that Google pixel does use the call screening feature since 2018, so there might be clever solutions already.
