When running the API commands in Developer example /api/v2/routing/queues/members. Instead of getting the json reply in a line broken up format, I get one single line with no returns. Do actually read it I have to select it and put it into an external json formatter.
Does anyone have a way to change what that output is giving me? I am using Chrome. I only have the issue if I am using chrome. It appears correctly if I am using firefox.

What you're describing sounds normal. API responses are optimized for consumption by applications, not humans. Responses intentionally exclude non-functional characters, like whitespace, in order to reduce the payload size.
You can find a multitude of JSON formatters on the internet for any environment you prefer, including browser extensions for chrome. The only tool officially endorsed by Genesys is our own Developer Tools. The API Explorer tool offers postman-esque functionality and formats the responses for human consumption. Interesting. If I use firefox I see it the way I would expect but just not in chrome. I am using the api-explorer. It just shows like
