    Hello,
I would like to use the referral parameter from Messenger (http://m.me/PAGE-NAME?ref=REF-PARAMETER-INFORMATION) to direct the customer to a specific path in the digital flow bot. How can I use this? I don't see any data regarding this parameter in the interaction created from such a link in Genesys Cloud. Has anyone implemented this and can provide some guidance?

    Hello Cezary,

I did find some documentation in our Genesys Cloud Developer Center. Can you take a look at this page and let me know if this help?

    Hello Jason,
    Thanks for your response!

This isn't exactly what I'm looking for, as there's still no information on how to use parameters from the link.

To clarify the solution I'm aiming for:

    • When clients write to us on Messenger, they have to go through the Messenger IVR to choose a path.

    • When clients call our helpline, I already know the reason for their call. I'd like to send them an SMS with an m.me link containing ?ref=REF-PARAMETER-INFORMATION, e.g., ?ref=<queue_name>.

If they click the link and start a conversation, they should be routed directly to the defined queue based on the parameter (?ref=<queue_name>), allowing us to bypass the Messenger IVR.
