    Hi Genesys Team,

    I need some clarification regarding Genesys Web Surveys.

    Within the Genesys Web Survey Invite flow, we currently use the Abort Survey block (error / opt-out) to end the flow early. I would like to know:

    1. Is there any alternate way to end a Web Survey flow without completing the survey, other than using the Abort Survey block?

    2. When using the Abort Survey block, is there any option to set the resulting survey status to "Empty" or completely remove the survey entry, so that no survey details appear in the Interaction page?

    3. Is there any supported method or API to override or modify the survey status after the flow ends?

    What I am trying to achieve:
    For certain error conditions, I do not want the survey to be visible at all in the Interaction page-meaning no status, no answers, and no survey record.

    Any guidance or best practices from the team would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello Balaji,

    Abort Survey is the primary and recommended way to end a survey flow prematurely. I'm not aware of another method but if someone from the Community knows of an alternative method, hopefully they will post that down below.

    As for your other two points, unfortunately, there is no option to set the survey status to "Empty" or completely remove the survey entry nor is there a supported method or API to override or modify the survey status after the flow ends. For those, you may need to submit an Idea to the Product Ideas Lab.

    If you want to make an enhancement request for Genesys Cloud, Genesys encourages you to register your request through the Product Ideas Lab. 

    To Access the Product Ideas Lab and add your idea:

    1. Sign in to the Genesys Knowledge Network.
    2. On the Product Ideas Lab section, click Browse and Submit Ideas.
    3. From the Product Ideas Lab, click Add a Product Idea.

    You can also view and vote for existing ideas.
