I'm attempting to program a Pre-Call Rule in which I call a Genesys data action to receive a value from the data table. When programming the data action in the Actions of the precall rule, there is no output to the data action on the call rule UI. I'm unable to utilize any of the data action's outputs.
It seems strange that there is a way to evaluate the output for a Condition but we are unable to utilize any data action values when performing a pre-call or wrap-up Action. Has anyone else attempted to call a data action from a pre-call rule and ran into this issue? My ultimate goal is to spoof the ANI with the return value from the data table return value.
