I'm using the Open Messaging API to integrate into a chat solution and I'm having trouble allowing the user to end the chat from the chat solution side so that the conversation is completely ended within both Genesys and the within the chat solution
If an agent ends a conversation, is there an event we'll receive via webhook? Same thing for a user, if the user ends the chat, is there a webhook event that is sent?

Hi, There is no way for the client side to disconnect the GC Conversation today. However the agent disconnecting the conversation will in turn disconnect the customer (client) participant.
