  • 1.  Outbound Dialer Campaign Schedules - Mandatory?

    Hi All,

    When transitioning from Pure Connect to Genesys Cloud, we were told scheduling outbound campaigns is mandatory - - so we currently have 70 outbound campaigns scheduled daily (an inconvenience....and also a risk to SVL as we're not always available to shut immediately).  Do we know if this is on the roadmap to change?

    Well, sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the current scheduling of campaigns is a pain to say the best.  There is a new update coming soon and in beta now that allows for copying of schedules and applying schedules to multiple campaigns.  Before that releases, it is easier to create a workflow that stops and starts campaigns and then initiating the workflow with a timed batch command.
