  • 1.  Outbound Email - Delivery Status Details

    Hello,

    I am creating an email campaign and noticed that there are some great fields in the Delivery Status Details column when reporting on these interactions. I did have a question about the Unsubscribe Link, though. Is there anything special I need to do within my Campaign Email template to identify a link as an unsubscribe link? I added one in my template, labeled it "Unsubscribe". When I received the email, I clicked on the unsubscribe link, but this information is not tracking back to the Performance Views.




    Any Thoughts?

    Hi Jody,

    Another question for you  -

    If I have multiple links in an email, is there any way to track which link was clicked? I see that in the analytics/conversation detail endpoint: "extendedDeliveryStatus": "CLICK", is displayed so I doubt it, but wanted to check. Is there a roadmap for enhanced outbound email capability? Would love to better understand what features are coming soon.

    I am working with agentless email campaigns and would like to know how Genesys tracks if a customer clicks on a link within the email. In my case, the link would be tagged as Unsubscribe. Is there any documentation on configuring this in an agentless email campaign?

    Hello Martin,

    I do not believe that is a functionality that we have currently have built-in.

    • If you want to give recipients the opportunity to unsubscribe, you must add your own unsubscribe link and text in the body of your email.

    If this is something you would like to see as a feature in the future, I would recommend submitting an Idea to the Product Ideas Lab.
