Are there any API's that will let me place a call as system. If not using architect is there anyway to change the ANI that is pushed?

You can use campaigns for this, and the contacts within the campaign (people to dial) can be updated via API.

Can you elaborate a bit more on your use case/needs?

Hi Brad we need to do this via either a architect flow native tools or through flow and platform APIs called through a data action. A Use case would be a call comes into a flow. Bot determines that the call needs to overflow to a different number. Still while in architect we need to be able to transfer that call and at the same time set the callerID. The CallerID will be a variable and will be determined by other services.

    Any further thoughts on this

The only way to place outbound calls without a user present is to use the outbound/dialer product. A non-user application cannot place calls. You can transfer calls via architect, but I don't believe you can alter the outbound ANI other than what's available on the line settings. You can request new features and share your use case at https://genesyscloud.ideas.aha.io/.
