Hello,
I'm integrating a crm/ticketing - tool within the normal web ui of Genesys Cloud. I'm using scripts in order to show the crm - ticket / interaction as soon as the call arrives at an agent.
The CRM application is protected against an IDP and ofcourse the authentication isn't allowed within an iframe (this is a best practice for all idp's nowadays ).
Genesys has the option "Pop-out Authentication for Embedded Iframes" however, but I can't get this working.
Does anyone know how the trigger the pop-out window please? Does anyone have an example of a queue script which holds a web page - item where you define the url which is protected by an idp to simulate this? Should the authentication popup work for both IDP - redirect and IDP - post requests?
I can't get this working. I already created a case, but the engineer wasn't really knowledgeable so I'm placing my bets here.
Extra info: when I open a second tab in the browser were i already opened the crm-tool and authenticated myself, then the url of the interaction is showing correctly...
So it's clearly he basic authentication flow that isn't working....
The definition on org settings is pretty straightforward, so I was wondering if I am missing something here.
Genesys Cloud embeds smaller applications utilizing iframes within the main application interface. Some of these embedded applications are required to authenticate in order to function. If using an SSO provider that does not allow authentication to take place within an iframe, set this to "ON". Otherwise, leave as "OFF". Note – setting to "ON" will require users to allow popups in their browser settings for your Genesys Cloud application domain.
Thanks
Stijn
