  • 1.  Priority of the campaigns and switching behavior

    Dear community,

    In outbound, there are two campaigns. Each contains different telephony measures. These are sorted differently within their campaign: Campaign 1 by date of receipt, campaign 2 by age of the customer. Campaign 1 is prioritized higher than Campaign 2. If campaign 1 is empty, campaign 2 should be started automatically. If further measures are loaded into campaign 1, it should start again.

    How can this be achieved? I assume both campaign are always running and the agents are shared (in different queues for reporting but same agent base is used).

    When using campaign priority, i can't sop campaign 2 fully when new entries are coming to the campaign list for campaign 1. According to Prioritizing campaigns - Genesys Cloud Resource Center the campaign 2 will run also with little percentage of the calls and not automatically be stopped.

    I also tried to look after campaign rule but also didn't found an entry which helps me to achieve this.

    Another possibility i thought of could be a precall rule for campaign 2. Before a call i placed for campaign 2 it should check if there are open entries ín the contact list for campaign 1, what do you think?

    Does anybody can help me here :)

    Kind regards

    Jan Reichelt

    That's a very sticky scenario...

    @Amy Catt any thoughts?
