We are aware and working to resolve a bug regarding the displaying of Wallboard permissions in certain cases upon role/permission changes.
Users who are assigned a PureCloud license who also have a Wallboard license are billed only for PureCloud.
The billing logic is as follows -
User with both PureCloud and Wallboard - billed as PureCloud
User with both Communicate and Wallboard - billed as both Communicate and Wallboard
User with both Collaborate and Wallboard - billed as Wallboard
User with only Wallboard - billed as Wallboard

Hi Guys - be careful adding the subscription for the wallboards as in our org it added the wallboard permissions across a whole range of roles by default including the "Communicate" role if you are not vigilant you could find your subscriptions increasing substantially (£12.60 x agent) if you subsequently change any of the agents profiles - fortunately, I noticed it on a reactivation and raised it with support. You will see the addition clearly under roles/permissions then you have to laboriously remove them from each role.

Hi Angelia,
On the older orgs, you'll first need to add the Wallboard Account to the customer's subscription. This can be done via self-service for Genesys direct customers, or for partner customers, via a subscription amendment to add the "PureCloud for Wallboard Device Charge" part to their subscription.
Once the Wallboard part is on the customer's subscription, they will be able to create Wallboard Accounts using the process described here: https://help.mypurecloud.com/articles/create-a-wallboard-account/

While there is no charge for configuring the first Wallboard Account, any customer wishing to add the Wallboard role must have the Wallboard Account on their subscription.
Genesys direct customers can add Wallboard Accounts to their subscription using self-service as described here: https://help.mypurecloud.com/articles/add-a-wallboard-account-to-your-subscription/
Indirect customers will need to contact a sales representative to add Wallboard Accounts via a subscription amendment.

Hi @Cole Callahan I am assuming that the Wallboard subscription is only needed if you want more than the one free account? I have a new org that I just activated that has the Wallboard Role, but no subscription. Again, I am assuming that it will not show up on the subscriptions page until you actually purchase the second one. Any ideas? Also, older orgs do not have the Wallboard Role listed, will that be pushed to them, or do we as Admins need to create the Wallboard Role for these older accounts. We opened a case with support and they just told us that we need to have the subscription. Which doesn't make much sense if the first one is free, and my though process above is correct. Any help would be appreciated in understanding what is needed.
