My business is looking to capture the voicemail attachments that are forwarded on emails in order to post them on a sharepoint page. The problem is, each voicemail attachment that comes across email is generically named 'Voicemail.WAV'. This presents a problem, because new voicemails attempts to overwrite the existing file with the same name. Oddly, when I download a voicemail locally from Genesys cloud, I get a unique name for the .WAV file - something like 'MediaCache_*', so it feels like something within Genesys Cloud is overwriting the unique name initially established by the system.
Does anyone know if there is a way to stop the system from renaming voicemails as 'Voicemail.WAV' and to keep the original naming established by the system?
