Hi everyone,

Does anyone know if Genesys enables audio file editing using role-based permissions? The goal would be to allow authorised users to remove any inappropriate content from recordings when necessary as part of the QA process.

We do not currently have a way to edit the audio recordings that exist in the cloud. If you want to make an enhancement request for Genesys Cloud, Genesys encourages you to register your request through the Product Ideas Lab. 

To Access the Product Ideas Lab and add your idea:

1. Sign in to the Genesys Knowledge Network.
2. On the Product Ideas Lab section, click Browse and Submit Ideas.
3. From the Product Ideas Lab, click Add a Product Idea.

Please ensure that it is legal to edit your recordings...if they might ever be used as legal evidence, you probably should not modify them.
