Salesforce case feed not populated with tasks from Salesforce integration client

    We have an issue where the Salesforce tasks created via the Genesys Cloud Salesforce integration client are showing up as activity for a case but are not appearing in the Salesforce case feed. I'm told by the Salesforce admin

    1. Tasks created manually for a case show up in the case feed
    2. Tasks created via Apex code show up in the case feed
    3. Tasks created by the Salesforce integration client do not show up in the case feed

    Is there any special configurations necessary for the tasks created by the Salesforce integration client to show up in the Salesforce case feed?

    For the purposes of testing, the Salesforce admin is asking for information about the request body used by the integration to create the call task, including the fields, values and API endpoint.

    Salesforce support has been engaged, and they are asking for "Payload which was used to create the task from CTI"

    Has anyone encountered the same issue? Any insight is appreciated.
