  • 1.  Script button to dial a number with pauses and other characters

    I need to create a button on the screen pop script page that will perform a consult transfer. However, I don't want to just give it the phone number, I would like it to also pause for a few seconds and then input a series of numbers.  In other systems I could just use a comma to have the dialer pause for a few seconds before it sent the other numbers. However, when I use that in the script, it is unable to place the call at all.  I've removed the commas and put just the phone number and it places the call just fine so it is obviously something with the comma.  Has anyone else done this with success?

    Don't we wish!!   Had that in PureConnect, but not in Genesys Cloud.  Here is the idea for this one:  Communicate - support dial strings with | Genesys Cloud Ideas Portal (aha.io).  Vote it up.
