We are looking to add an automated message when a web message conversation ends.  

Using CoPilot I found these instructions below but there isn't a connection for system messages in configuration.

If you saw that in the Resource Center it was probably a premature launch message.  I think this is the idea for this: Send Message to End user on Agent Ending | Genesys Cloud Ideas Portal.  @Angelo Cicchitto, did your team attempt to put this in at some point?

Today you can enable a Conversation Disconnect message via Messenger configuration, see step #6.d here > https://help.mypurecloud.com/articles/configure-messenger/

We are planning to have some of the Messenger labels and messages configurable based on this Idea https://genesyscloud.ideas.aha.io/ideas/DIG-I-126

Hi Angelo, I see the option in step 6 but that's where I'm stuck.  That step is set but I can't find any instruction on where I actually add the message to send when the chat ends.

For now the message in transcript is hardcoded, you cannot customize it. The Idea I posted above is to make it customizable.

What you could to though is to subscribe to that MessagingService.conversationDisconnected event and trigger the Toaster.open command for custom message.
