    Is it possible to send an SMS as part of a call from on a GC1 licence ?. I believe you can do it via a data action but I am not sure if it is possible on the GC1 licence as there is no facility for SMS on this level of licence.

    Hi,

    I am pretty sure you can get access to SMS on GC1 level via add-on. (Agentless SMS notifications - Genesys Cloud Resource Center (mypurecloud.com))

    Here is explained how to add the add-on Add a bundle of digital channels to your subscription - Genesys Cloud Resource Center (mypurecloud.com):

    To add digital channels (incl. SMS) to your subscription, perform these steps:

    1. Navigate to the Genesys AppFoundry.
    2. Search for Digital Messaging Channels and Capabilities.
    3. Click the card and follow the instructions.
