We have few customers who want us to sign the aws requests instead of having to set up IAM users as per standard data action integration with oauth or lambda. Is it possible to do that?

Data actions don't currently support signing the requests like you describe. You can request new features and share your use case at https://genesyscloud.ideas.aha.io/.
