That is true, and I can surely use that method. The existance of the SIP Diagnostics JSON file however suggests there is another tool we can use what could be easier to use.

I admit I've never done anything with the json file but it looks to contain pretty much the same information you get within the pcap. From the pcap perspective you can go with Wireshark to give a visual of the SIP session.

Yes there are and here is what you need to setup that: SIP Diagnostics - Genesys Cloud Resource Center (mypurecloud.com)
Once you have the permissions, you will get a SIP Ladder and PCAP for each call in the Details tab. You can turn on Media Diagnostics as well at the trunk level.
