    Can I configure the system to automatically change the status to "Away" if it detects a certain period of inactivity?

    If so, could you tell me how to do it?

    That, specifically, is not a Genesys Cloud feature.

    If one is using the Desktop App, it switches an Available status to Away automatically when the computer screensaver starts or the computer is locked (and back to Available when unlocked/screensaver stops).

    The only comparable feature is Inactivity Timeout, which logs a user off after a specified period of inactivity. That works for all clients.

    Note that it also affects OAuth Client token timeout.

    What is the use case you are trying to solve for? There might be a better way to do whatever it is you are trying.
