  • 1.  Switching from one business unit to another

    Hello,

I'm just curious as to what people do when switching reps from one business unit to another.

IE we have 4 different business units within our system (Inbound, Outbound, Loans, and Digital).  Each one has 2-4 management units (reps, Team Leads, QA, Trainers).  I've been having difficulties transferring them to a different management unit if they transfer or get promoted to a different department.  When I move them, PTO requests get out of whack, they no longer show up on reporting for the old unit, and I get some errors now and again.  I make my schedule for a month long period and I've considered doing a shorter schedule (1 or 2 weeks) but I'd like to avoid that.

Just curious as to what other's do.

We are supposed to be getting a training from our Genesys Partner soon and they are under the impression that our management and business units might not be set up correctly.

Yes, BUs are pretty separated from each other.  Even if you use the same names for things like Work Plans and Staffing Groups, they don't carry over to new BU.  Also, shift swaps and time off requests are BU-specific.  @Tracy Vickers, could someone in WEM get us more specifics?
