Hi Robert,
Thanks for your reply, we already having Microsoft Teams > Audio Code SBC > ITSP PSTN for incoming/ outgoing calls, now we adding Genesys in our environment. Our Question is
1) Can we use same SBC or need to install new one ?
2) If i am using same SBC, then i need to add only Genesys in audio code or again one more time i need to add microsoft teams?
3) can u give example of routing how it can be configured in audio code.
Do u have any reference doc / screenshot for this. It will be helpful as we are juniors and new to genesys.
Regards,
Jeeva

Simply all you need it so program a trunk between Genesys and the SBC and then another between the SBC and Teams. Then you need routing based on number plans in Genesys and Teams and the SBC needs to relay that.

Yes that is the best route. We normally suggest NOT using Microsoft phone services and dial plan for integrated solutions. The best is to use a common SBC for the Teams Direct Routing to the PSTN and to Genesys Cloud as in this diagram.

@Robert Wakefield-Carl - Do you have any thoughts on this? Seems to me like Teams would be fine with just one gateway config for the SBC, and the SBC could handle the PSTN/Genesys route from there? True?

Hi All,
I'm beginning work on an MS Teams integration and looking for a little more detail on a specific part of the Job aid (word doc here)
On page 3 the reference provides instructions on connecting Teams to the SBC via configuring a voice gateway in Teams. If the Teams org in question is already handling pstn traffic via an SBC, is this step needed? Put another way, does Teams need a dedicated voice gateway for this implementation, or can it use the one that's already there (assuming the SBC is updated to account for the byoc cloud trunk)?
Has anyone done this yet?
Thanks!
Dean.
