  • 1.  Trouble converting hh:mm:ss time from Genesys export to hours in Excel

    Hi all, 

    When I export reports from Genesys Cloud to Excel, the time fields (like idle time or adherence) come out as hh:mm:ss.ss, but I'm having trouble converting them into decimal hours (like 2.75 hours) for reporting. 

    I've tried a few Excel formulas, but nothing seems to work right - sometimes I get strange values or formatting errors. 

    Has anyone found a reliable way to convert Genesys time fields into hours in Excel? 

    Any formula or formatting advice would be much appreciated!

    Hello Watanaphon,

    if your are exporting Agent Status/performance report have you tried exporting in using duration format of Milliseconds or seconds it is much easier to convert them into decimal in excel.

    It is best to export as "seconds", divide it by 60 in the next column over for minutes and again for hours.
