Hi team
We are looking to expand into Arabic speaking countries utilizing Genesys Web Messaging. I have tried to test what will happen when I set the language via an architect flow, yet the experience seems the same.
Questions:
- will the agents experience writing messaging with the cursor going right to left?
- will it be configurable to have the customer experience wrighting messaging with the cursor going right to left?
Thank you,
Rob

Hi @Robert_Cooper
- Messenger already support Arabic with RTL orientation for End-User
- There is a broader effort for internal / platform improvement to support Arabic and RTL (this is independent of Web Messaging): you can follow up here https://genesyscloud.ideas.aha.io/ideas/OP-I-1349

Hi @Angelo_Cicchitto ,
Just a follow up on this piece. For customers that are utilizing the product through a customized UI via API. Are there any details on any changes that need to be made to enable the RTL typing for the end user?
Thank you,
Rob

To test this properly, you would need to use a parent website that is configured with rtl, typically the main <html> tag will include an attribute like dir="rtl".
