    So, are you good now?  There is the one permission for the New UI that you need to remove to get back to original UI.

    so is this getting pushed out as a permission and there is not a planned beta or did I miss the announcement?  I don't see it in the Beta HQ like I had seen would be the case.

    Hello, 

    We found different menus that do not lead to the correct page but rather to the homepage. For example: IT and integrations/ Intergration or  Telephony / Did Numbers

    Greetings Regis - We reported the same issues in the New UI Known Issues thread, and fortunately @Zoltan Juricskay from Genesys stated those issues should be fixed before GA (preferably within the next week or so given their weekly updates.) I'd recommend joining us in that centralized thread to stay up to date on this and other UI issues/feedback.

    Unfortunately, in the meantime our admins have had to switch between the old & new UI to workaround these/other issues. To do so, we created a separate "NewUI role we can add/remove as needed.

    I find it unfortunate not to take advantage of this redesign of the user interface to include the "In Queue" status in the list of statuses (Available/Occupied...) as it can be on the embedded client for Salesforce.

    Hello, In the previous version, there was a favourites menu at the top of the left sidebar. I cannot find this menu in the new version. Is this normal?

    Regis - Check out this thread regarding the same concern others shared about the "Favorites" button, which can now be found after clicking the Collaborate (UCC) button.

    Yes, the UI All future permissions needed to be disabled. and it was able to be separated out to new ROLE to give to individuals.

    That community is open to the public, so anyone can view, then join to post and subscribe to digests. In terms of getting everyone in your org registered, I would reach out to CustomerCare@Genesys.com or maybe work with your Genesys Rep. The Care Team will need a list of your contacts (Name, Job Title, and Email) to create the accounts or they can self register here - https://community.genesys.com/sign-up-sign-in

    Once they are signed into the site, all they have to do is navigate to that community and click the "Join" button to have full access and receive email notifications.

    Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Were you able to get it off? We don't see that permission but our set up changed today and it wasn't the Multi Panel

    We had to uncheck this on some roles we had set up, then we could have users go back to the "old view" and set up permissions for the new BETA.  I am all set yes.

    Hi these permissions to view the new UI are only available by signing up for the beta. 

    Allow me to offer some additional clarification regarding how the permissions work:

    • Existing parent permission: UI > All Permissions.
      • If this is enabled, it automatically enables all sub-permissions (including any added in the future).
      • This has always been in place, with or without beta.
    • New navigation permissions (introduced with the New Navigation Experience):
      • UI > New Genesys UI Navigation > All Permissions
      • UI > New Genesys UI Navigation > Enable (this is a child of the above)
      • Together, these effectively behave as a single permission.
    • Inheritance behavior:
      • If UI > All Permissions (the parent) is enabled, the new navigation permissions are also enabled automatically.
      • If the parent is disabled, the new permissions are off by default.
    • Impact on users:
      • The new navigation experience itself is controlled by UI > New Genesys UI Navigation > Enable.
      • This means that, at the moment beta is enabled, any user who already has UI > All Permissions will automatically see the new navigation.

     

    Key point: Administrators remain fully in control. You can decide which agents get the new navigation and which continue with the legacy experience. The automatic behavior above only applies at the time beta is first enabled in your org.

    Question, this is our first BETA testing, and I am getting reports from random team members stating they have the BETA UI experience, but I can't find where they have the permissions selected? I have looked through all their roles and privs and don't see anything UI<All permissions or UI<New Experience selected.
