We are on Genesys 2020 R9
I am not sure what to make of this one. Have users that have no admin privileges, they are call center users. If I try to provision the Softphone SIP it says no host found. Verified they can see the host server CIC server through IP and name resolution using a ping. I verified the server is set up right, and I can in Interaction Desktop login under workstation as their IP phone and as their workstation. If I try to log in as SIP in ID, it fails saying no host found.
If I open SIP as an admin (myself) it provisions just fine. Managed IP phones in Interaction Administrator shows the software installed, and gives the version 20.00.03.010. Though it also says it is not registered.
When trying to connect in ID to SIP, with SIP already connected, it creates a new SIP connection, which fails, because I am guessing the lack of admin rights.
If I force SIP to load with admin rights and open ID, it asks me to log in to SIP, and then connects, but the ID eventually times out saying connection to the SIP was lost. I looked in the logs, and didn't see anything really that jumped out at me as an error.
