Yes, you can sign up for the Beta while keeping the rest of your organization on the current (old) navigation.
Once we reach the Early Adopter GA date, nothing changes immediately, except that Genesys will enable the feature toggle across all regions. This gives every organization the ability to assign the new navigation permission to users as they see fit, whether that's a subset or the entire user base.

Hi Zoltan,
Does that mean if you opt in to the beta, everyone in the org will be assigned the new ui until september 29, and then the toggle feature becomes available? Or is it saying that if you want to wait for the opt-in/opt out feature, you should not sign up for the beta and just wait until september 29?
Asking because as an admin i'd like to get hands on the new U/I but i dont want to subject the entire org to it before ive had a chance to look at it. So im not sure if the answer is to sign up for the beta or not.

Hi Steve,
The Beta enrollment has not yet been opened in Beta HQ. This is currently pending and will be actioned in alignment with the overall Beta rollout timeline.
For General Availability (GA), we plan to launch with an admin-controlled early adoption capability, enabling administrators to toggle between the old and new navigation experiences on a per-user basis.
This early adopter-style GA is currently targeted for September 29, allowing for a gradual and controlled rollout based on organizational readiness and preferences.
Regards:
Zoltan

We're Soon Rolling Out a New Navigation Experience!
We're in the process of launching a new navigation system that's more streamlined, intuitive, and accessible-especially for new users. Whether you're an agent, supervisor, or admin, you'll find it easier than ever to get where you need to go.
What's Coming?
Unified Navigation Panel
All your menus are now organized into a single, collapsible panel on the left-keeping everything in one place and out of your way when you need more screen space.
User-Centered Structure
The layout follows the user's mental model. It's consistent across roles and mirrors how teams naturally work-making it easier to learn, train, and use.
Smarter Page Organization
Categories and pages are logically grouped, so navigating the interface feels more intuitive.
Global Search Bar
A unified search field that delivers more results-pages, people, groups, and locations-without needing to switch tools.
Improved Naming & Labels
Several menus and workspaces have been renamed to enhance clarity and consistency.
What Does It Mean for You?
Admins
Faster setup and easier access to system tools-fewer clicks, less time searching.
Supervisors
Dashboards, schedules, and team views are right where you expect them.
Agents
Familiar workflows remain, with enhancements like Collaborate, now relocated to the right panel for better accessibility.
