  • 1.  Upcoming Feature - Scheduled Export Expiration Notifications

Currently scheduled to release in June, a feature will be released to add notifications for scheduled exports to help a user prevent critical exports from missing their scheduled runtime.  Release updates, including any changes to the release date will be provided via the ideas portal: https://genesyscloud.ideas.aha.io/ideas/ANLS-I-271

Most notably, regular users of the scheduled exports feature will see three major changes:

    Email Notifications

Users with expired exports or exports expiring soon will receive daily alert emails.  This email will come from the same source that delivers completed exports.

    Example:

    Scheduled Exports View:

In the Scheduled Exports view, users will now notice color-coding and tooltips, making it easier to distinguish expiring and expired exports. Tooltips will appear when an export is within seven days of expiration, and when a scheduled export has expired.

    Inbox Notifications:

In the Exports inbox, users can view the number of expired and expiring soon exports at the top of the page. Users will also be able to renew all exports that are expiring soon.

Is there a way to turn off the email notifications without disabling the export?

    Hi Ryan,

Currently, I have been receiving a daily email notification of an overdue report in my Test Organization, but upon reviewing it can be validated that there is no scheduled overdue report (attached print screen). Any idea what it could be? Or as Justin Kennedy indicated, can these email notifications be disabled?

    Kind Regards

Hello Virgilio!  I would recommend opening a case with our support team to track this one down.  This could be a bug or you have additional orgs that have expired exports and that's not the org you're currently logged into.  We've had quite a bit of feedback to include the org name within the email which we're looking to scope into a future release.  https://genesyscloud.ideas.aha.io/ideas/DARAR-I-1979  There is also not currently a way to opt out of the daily reminder emails which is also something we'll consider scoping in.

    Hi Ryan,

Thank you for your response, I had already checked all of my user's organizations and they are empty, just like in the image, and I still receive 3 reminder emails every day "Genesys Cloud: Export Schedule Expiration Notice".

I already gave my vote on the idea "DARAR-I-1979".

I will open a case with Care, to see what they tell me.

    Kind regards.
