    When a user records an interaction, Genesys Cloud sends a recording to that user's inbox, which is only available to that user.
    How long are user recordings stored in Genesys Cloud. Is there any limit?

    Hi Midhun,

    From my understanding user recordings are retained for same period as policy-based recordings. Call recording in Genesys Cloud overview - Genesys Cloud Resource Center (mypurecloud.com)

    They should be retained for the duration of your contract term with Genesys Cloud Agreement, as long as your Maximum Interaction Data Retention Time in your organizational settings and (recording) policies in your quality admin settings are not configured for shorter retention periods.

    Screen recording policies have a one-year maximum retention period. Call recordings and digital recordings have no upper limits. Retention period for analytics data and recording - Genesys Cloud Resource Center (mypurecloud.com)

    Hi Georgy Rudnev,

    If my contact center is using Genesys cloud communication, We do not have permissions to create policies. I have set a maximum retention period of 90 days in the organization settings, so the user-based recordings will be deleted at the end of the 90 day period, right. In the case where I do not specify a number in organization setting, by default we do not have any limit right?

    So we don't have any limit for user based recording, if we are not specify a number in organization setting.
