  • 1.  Using profile fields for schedule generation

    Hello community,

    Where will the values used for profile fields listed under HR section be visible other than under individual agent profile?

    Would the values be available in any reports or can we search specific users using these fields for WFM activities? 

    Currently the allowed values for employment type are Full-time, Part-time, Contractor. 

    Can we add new values e.g. Casual or Intern? Genesys Cloud does provide UI to edit profile fields but doesn't allow adding new values. 

    Would appreciate any help. Thank you.

    Hi Apama,

    've been trying to source an answer for you and it seems this is Read-Only approach which is the way it was intended.

    It was recommended if you want to create editable fields, you could create new fields.

    Sorry I don't have any further info on this - you could try posting on the Main Cloud Community to reach a more appropriate audience for this question?

    Thank you @Tracy Vickers for looking into this. 

    I did try creating a new field but it is very limited , only Text/tag type with Label.

    I couldn't figure out the scenarios such custom fields would be used for.

    Hi, sorry for the little off topic, but the Genesys User Experience Research team has launched a survey aimed to schedulers (or supervisors with scheduling permissions) to gather their feedback about different aspects of the agents' schedule.

    This survey will take approximately 5-10 minutes and those eligible will automatically be entered into a sweepstakes for a chance to win one of two $75 e-gift cards.

    The survey will be collecting data until May 20th, and sweepstakes selection will be held on May 21st.
