    Hi,

    We have implemented the authenticated messenger with a custom built IDP solution. This solution (token endpoint) sometime takes more than 5 seconds to respond to Genesys with an access token and it causes Genesys to close the session on the user side. We are exploring the options to use the same appclient and token for Genesys and our app. Can someone help me to understanding of how Genesys manages these tokens and the cons associated with this approach.

    Hello Rizwan, 

    5 seconds for a messenger application is a really long time. I would start working on getting that response time down before moving that endpoint to a different service. Our tokens response recommended is like ~3 seconds or less. We have been making improvements to our platform but 5 seconds is to long.
