    Is it possible to setup a WallBoard User account without using SSO?

    We have Genesys Cloud using SSO, and would rather not create a 365 account to be a WallBoard user

    If you turn on local authorization and not just SSO, you can use a local account. Everyone wants their piece of the pie, so yes, if you only use SSO, you will need to burn an AD account to allow for the wallboard use to log in.

    Yes, you can use local and SSO authorization at the same time.

    A related question around SSO, if SSO fails for some reason, maybe an expire SAML cert of something, and you turn SSO only on the GC org, is there way of having a backdoor or "Break Glass" local account to fix the GC org's SSO account..  When we first activated the GC org we create a local account, do you how that is possible..  Additional, if we setup SSO only how would GC care connect, if they do not have an AD account on the GC org..

    No, if you get locked out of SSO, you have two choices - use the API to turn that feature off using an Admin-level OAuth or open a ticket with Genesys Support to turn that off.  

    To plan for this, setup an OAuth user with Admin or Master Admin access or maybe a new Role with the ability to enable org settings.  Be sure to test that and have the client/secret saved off so you can use that in and API call using PostMan et al.

    Hi Joe,

    I am trying to create/build a wallboard to display rudimentary contact center metrics such as the number of calls offered, handled, abandoned, etc. The built-in dashboard does not have what I need. May I ask what are you using for your dashboard? Thank you.
