    Any ideas the best way to display a dashboard to non Genesys Cloud users? So for example, if there is some large outage or large event happening and a VP wants to get a global view of a Dashboard that we've created without taking up a license? Display the dashboard on an intranet site? Just getting our feet wet on Wallboards and want to see what others are doing.

    As for an out-of-the-box solution - are you aware of the 'Wallboard account' that's available? (first wallboard account is free to use). Whilst it does still need to be logged into Genesys Cloud, it's much cheaper ($18 USD) than a full licence

    Yes, we pay extra for the Wallboard solution but we haven't started development yet and I wanted to see what options were available.

    Hi Curtis,

    Genesys Cloud CX dashboards require a Genesys Cloud CX user account to be visible, there is no public facing element that would allow you to "share" the content externally. Genesys introduced the "Wallboard" license that Jeff mentioned below to provide cut down functionality for a reduced cost, and is a good solution for this scenario.

    Another alternative would be to look at one of the AppFoundry dashboard partners who can consume the data from Genesys Cloud CX and publish out dashboards. These provide more flexibility on how the data is displayed, again most will require their own licenses. Some examples include eMite and Display5.

    Finally, many of our customers have their own BI solution such as Power BI, Tableau, or Yellowfin. This already existing investment allows you to consume the data in your BI platform of choice, build fully customised dashboard content and share with users in the most appropriate method.

    I concur with Gareth - 

    We have a Power BI solution on AppFoundry that provides this functionality (Avtex Insights).  But it is really just the tip of the iceberg.  With a tool like Power BI (and others) you can create accounts for your external partners/vendors/etc., to not only see dashboards, but you could also provide the ability for them to export data, and implement row level security so they can only see the data you want them to.

    And since most companies are already paying for their own BI solution, the cost to do this for those external parties would be minimal.

    Hi Curtis, there's an AppFoundry alternative (Slidy Dashboard/Wallboard) that doesn't require the users to be Genesys Cloud users.
    So dashboard viewers do not require a GC license, which is only needed if you are editing or designing the dashboard as you access the configuration of Genesys Cloud.
    Slidy does also have a data Mart module that extracts all Genesys Cloud data into SQL tables that you can view either on Slidy or MS PowerBI or other tools.
    Typically for managers if you want only to be alerted about certain events or configurable metrics exceeding thresholds then the best option may be a mobile app that registers for notifications based on custom rules in addition to displaying key metrics. This is also where another AppFoundry solution stands out (Notifyer) to bring cloud metrics to your mobile.
