    Hello Team,
    Greetings, 
    We want to export all the reporting data to AWS data lake and then we are going to use a reporting application (tableau) to generate the reports as per the customer requirement. Could you please guide me.
    I want to know what will the best approach and how this could be implemented in Genesys cloud. Do we have to use specific API or Data export Tool?

    You'll probably want to repost this on the Developer forum. There are multiple API and method available for getting the data, from export jobs to batches to call-by-call data. You can use API's to pull in call data, or setup Event Bridge to have data fed to you in real time. The structure of the data necessary for most reports also fits best into multiple tables, with relationships and lookups all over the place. It's a huge rabbit hole and trap all in one. There are some off the shelf products that will handle the data-siphon for you, so that you just need to point Tableau at the right spot and pick which reports/logic you want to use; tools such as PureInights and Emite.

    Hello Devanand!  I want to bring awareness to a feature that we have in the works to help cover some of the use cases to bring data into a BI tool without the need to transform the data into an external data warehouse. https://genesyscloud.ideas.aha.io/ideas/ANLS-I-1082  This feature that we have in development will leverage the export capabilities included in all the UI's analytics views to produce a regularly updated CSV file that BI tools can reference as their data source.  This will enable a business user to get data they see in our UIs into a BI tool without any custom development work.  As Brad noted, the data transformation route can be a complex or expensive undertaking. 

    We're on track to have this functionality available early 2023.  If your use cases for your users can be satisfied by getting the data available in our existing analytics views, then this feature we're building may be what you're looking for.
