  • 1.  Web messaging auto start conversation lag or doesn't trigger bot?

    hi guys

    Have an intermittent issue it seems where the web messaging "auto start" option doesn't seem to work and still awaits an end-user to type something, or it takes 10+seconds to actually trigger the start.  Has anybody come across this?

    Many times.  I can't tell you why, but you are not the only one.  Usually, I refresh the session and it comes back with an error and starts over.  I am guessing something was sent through that it cannot interpret and it gets stuck.  I would report it.  I have not had the time to do so.  @Angelo Cicchitto is this from Messaging or from the Bot?

    It's hard to tell: we would need to debug this with a ticket to Genesys Care: to exclude any additional Bot or Data Action delays, I typically suggest adding a simple welcome message at the very beginning of the Inbound Message Flow (using Send Response action), ahead of any further processing.
