With the upcoming release of Inbound Data Masking for Digital Channels, the additional processing required for message pattern detection & masking may introduce few millisecond of delay to inbound messages, see corresponding Idea here > https://genesyscloud.ideas.aha.io/ideas/DIG-I-121

Therefore we want to improve overall Messenger UX in a way that informs End-User about current message status, transitioning from Sending to Delivered (meaning, delivered to "brand", while being processed by GC Messaging Platform) or in some rare cases also Not Delivered. As a heads-up, this feature is being released soon. With a minor variation to labels: rather than using the Delivered label upon success, we are replacing that with Sent, to avoid ambiguity: Delivered may be interpreted as delivered to an Agent, which is not the case here.
