    Hi Team,

    Is there a way in web messaging websocket API to just send the custom attributes and not display the message in the messenger window.

    We are able to pass the data and retrieve them, but the message is also getting passed and displayed in the messenger window.

    Hi - I don't think there's a way to achieve that at the moment: what use-case are you trying to solve?

    Hi Angelo,

    We are using web socket API just to pass custom attributes, we are not doing custom implementation in the website end. We want to pass the custom attributes through Websocket without displaying the message associated to the end customer as the messaging is handled in architect flow. if that is not possible is there a way the message can be shown as a outbound message in the messenger window.

    Hi @desikan.m I'm not sure on which direction you're trying to pass data: can you clarify the functional requirement, what are you trying to achieve?

    Hi Angelo,

    We want to pass custom attributes to genesys for that we are using websocket API to pass custom data (we do not want to use javascript). As per the documentation the custom attributes has to be sent with a message. We do not want the message passed with the custom attributes to be displayed to the customer(in the messenger window). Hope that clarifies.
