A LARGE prospect would like to know if we can extract via our API the information to integrate with a Payroll system. I am thinking this would be available when we have a generic WFM connector because they would need to know whether time is paid or unpaid time. Any thoughts on what would be available today and the limitations appreciated?

Can you elaborate on what metrics you're looking for in a WFM integration?

Apparently Nice have a tool that that can be used for two way integration. The reason is that holiday entitlements are kept in the HR/Payroll system and there is a requirement to advise the agent requesting the time off that they do not have paid leave available. Also each customer has a different set of requirements. Let me see if I can track down the inputs and outputs for this as a starting point. We have asked the customer to come back with their requirements before taking any further. Thanks for the quick response.

I just got word that we (read: me) will be working on an open source WFM starter integration. We're just starting chartering for it, so now is a perfect time to provide any requirements you have so we can take them into consideration. Thanks!

I also have a prospect just now starting up Pipkins WFM with an older prem Cisco system. They are interested in moving to PureCloud and if the WFM connector is available it would smooth the path considerably. Pipkins is a hosted WFM solution providing RTA and scheduling.

The open source project I'm working on won't have built-in configurations for Pipkins. But the intent of the project is to do most of the heavy lifting so all someone has to do is configure the queries, transforms, and output templates to generate the necessary historical data for any system. The initial release of this project is planned for this year.
There is no work planned for an RTA solution at this time.

Will this "open source WFM integration" allow for exporting of WFM schedules? The use case is that these exported agent schedules would be for import into a payroll system.

It could when there are APIs to expose that data.

What is the current status of the open source WFM Integration?
Just gave a presentation of WFM within PureCloud for our company. Got same questions like; Export function, print function, a mobile app where users can see there schedule etc

The initial version is released. Keep in mind that the data that can be exported is limited to what's available in the APIs; this is not a new source of data. I mention this specifically because not all of the WFM data is exposed in the API yet.
