Thanks for your prompt reply Matt, I appreciate it very much.
Do you know if it would be possible for us to still have access to the previous site until it has been fully migrated?
I have managed to mess around and eventually found the solution by myself, but it probably would have saved me lot of time to have it accessible on the previous forum.
I had not seen the suggestion post before, so thanks for that, I will taka look and if it makes my life any easier :)

Hey Egil,
Thanks for the feedback. You raise a lot of great points and I am happy to help.
In terms of searching and browsing, I created the following discussion that has my best advice.
In terms of search specifically, I would recommend using either know.genesys.com (because if offers search across various Genesys resources), the brain tab (to the right of this page) or Google (for advanced keyword). You can also use the community search and filter by communities.
It looks like the previous developer community site is redirecting to this site, so I am not sure how to access that previous content. The plan is still to migrate that content. Unfortunately, due to difficulties and resource restraints, the migration was put on hold, but the plan is to migrate the content ASAP. We are waiting for the right resources to become available to make the migration happen.
Thanks,
Matt

Hi Matt,
This new developer community is very bad. I can not find anything in there that I need, and it seems that the previous site has now disappeared with all the very valuable articles that were in there :( The new experience rarely gives me what I am looking for, and the search is very bad.
Maybe/hopefully I am doing everything wrong, but It seems like I can only do a search at the top of the screen, and even if I am already in the Developer community when I do the search, I still have to go on the list to the left and select it.
Where can I find all the previous articles? I use them ALOT and they have really helped me, and I am sure I am not the only one.
I was trying to find this article in the new site and it just not come up despite the search phrases or browsing.

Hey Everyone,
If you were a fan of the old Dev Forums you may be curious to know more about the migration that will be happening on Monday (March 24th). I am going to try to give you all of the important details here.
Good news! The previous site will be available in read-only mode if you want to refer back to your posts, etc.
Important Details Regarding the Migration
TIMING - My team and I will start the migration around 9am eastern time. We will post in each community when the migration has begun and when it ends so that you are aware and can start browsing the new content.
PLEASE NO POSTING - While my team and I are migrating content, it would be great if you could refrain from adding new content to the site. FWIW, my understanding is that your post should go live on the site, but it may get buried in the migrated content, so there is a strong chance no one will ever see the great things you have to say.
MIGRATED CONTENT - The content that we are migrating from the previous forums to this community will not be perfect.
- It will be ANONYMOUS - Meaning content authors for discussions and replies will not be "credited" it will come over as "submitted by Developer Community". Sorry! I'm bummed about it, too.
- It will be INSTANT - Meaning the original "created on" dates will not come over. The discussion will be labeled as "Created on" whenever the migration posted it to the site. So yes, posts that were three years old will appear BRAND NEW. Try not to be fooled.
- It will be TAGLESS - If you read my post about topic tags (thank you), but unfortunately topic tags will not be included on the migrated content. You can add them in replies if you find it helpful or want to make sure your old/favorite content is appropriately tagged!
NOTIFICATIONS - Two notes here:
- If you are receiving instant notifications in the community, my team is making sure those notifications are turned off during the migration. That way your email won't blow up in the middle of an important meeting.
- If you were previously following posts in the Dev Forum and want to continue doing so, you will need to find the content in the community and click the "Following" button or give it a reply. (More details on following content can be found in my post.)
I think that is everything. If I forgot anything, I will add a reply below. If you have any questions, feel free to do the same!
Cheers,
Matt
