Hello
I am trying to use the POST /api/v2/conversations/messages/agentless endpoint to send an agentless Whatsapp message, but I am getting this error:
{
"message": "The agentless.outbound.whatsapp.message feature is not available",
"code": "not.implemented",
"status": 501,
"contextId": "the-context-id",
"details": [],
"errors": []
}
In the documentation it says that
Currently SMS and WhatsApp is the only supported type
Why is it returning that Not Implemented error then?
Thanks

Could you check this, please?

Please open a case with Genesys Cloud Care to report this bug. The documentation says WhatsApp is supported, but the API isn't working in accordance with the documentation.

It turns out this isn't broken, it's working as intended currently; that feature isn't released for WhatsApp. The documentation for it accidentally made it out the door before the feature. Keep an eye on the Genesys Cloud release notes for an announcement adding WhatsApp support for this.

Ok, thank you Tim. Is there any ETA for this?

Hi Adrian, we're working on a beta release of the WhatsApp Agentless API for early to mid-May.

There might be a work around using the WhatsApp Business API being used by Genesys it is Sunshine Conversations/Smooch/Zendesk. If you can get the token to authenticate to the API provider, we can help enabling the bulk message.
Regards,
Mario
